Team Immunity have succeeded in qualifying for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ZEN League Season One.
After victories of 2-0 over Avant Garde in the seeding match, and 2-? Against Legacy eSports, the Immunity boys secured their spot in the upcoming league, which features eight of the best teams across Oceania and Asia.
The squad, consisting of JAMES, Gratisfaction, BURNRUOk, moeycQ and erkaSt will complete alongside three Australian Teams – Tainted Minds, Chiefs, and Dark Sided, against four teams TBA from the Asia region.
With a string of close games, Immunity were kept on their toes for the entirety of the qualifier. Scores of 16-10 and 16-12 against Avant Garde in the seeding round, as well as 16-10 and 16-13 over Legacy eSports in the qualifying round ensured their victory and qualification spot.
Team Immunity gained their initial qualifier spot for the ZEN League Qualifiers thanks to their performance in ESL AU & NZ Championships Season Two, where they finished the season in position 3/4.
The ZEN League season will consist of 12 weeks of online play, as well as a LAN finale for the top four teams. ZEN League in 2017 will also see a cash prize pool of $100,000, spanned across two seasons.
